We are a mother-daughter team bringing new insights, clear strategies, and practical advice to parents, students, and educators. Our mission is to open up conversations between parents and children, and create learning environments where students can both examine and embrace the human values that allow all of us to flourish and thrive. As a psychologist and an educator, spanning two generations, every day we are face-to-face with the seismic cultural shifts we are facing as we strive to raise healthy, responsible children. Traveling throughout the United States and Mexico, we hear the anxiety that parents and educators experience, racing to keep up with media technology, trying to hold on to some semblance of influence in how their children understand themselves and the world around them. We listen to the confusion of students who want to make sense of the relentless stream of information, and long for an authentic sense of self, untethered from social media. Together, we have created workshops, curricula, and presentations that offer schools and communities an opportunity to come together and learn practical ways of talking to children and teens about the values that define us as human beings, and how those values can be infused into every aspect of our lives. We tailor all of our presentations to the needs of you community. Our presentations generally address one or more of the following topics:-Sexual Health and Responsibility-Raising Children with Human Values in a Digital World-The Freedom of Self Control We would love to talk with you about your community and brainstorm how we can create an environment together that best serves our children and the reality they will bring to the world.
