Since 1979, Northumberland Child Development Centre has provided programs and services for children who require additional support to succeed, and their families. Our services have evolved throughout the years to include the developmental needs of children from pregnancy to Grade One. There is no cost to families living in Northumberland County for any of our offerings. Northumberland Child Development Centre is committed to providing services to families of children who require additional support to succeed, assisting in creating conditions within which children can develop to their fullest potential. Children's services include Infant and Child Development programs, Physical, Occupational and Sensory Integration Therapies, Speech and Language program, Behaviour Management and Play Therapy program. Through the Early Learning in Northumberland County (ELINC) program, the Northumberland Child Development Centre team provides relevant training sessions at convenient hours for early childhood education professionals in our community. Family programs include A Bright Place to Start parenting and pregnancy support programs, Milk for Moms program, and a variety of Parenting Workshops.
