Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana is a Charity Navigator four-star rated organization, our mission is to provide a supportive home away from home for families of children receiving medical care at Riley Hospital for Children at IU Health and other area hospitals, we champion programs that improve the health, education and well-being of children. The House is made up of two separate locations with distinct functions to meet the varying needs of the families we serve. Our original location, located at 435 Limestone St. on the IUPUI campus, has 46 guest rooms and six continuing care apartments designed for the special needs of transplant patients and their families. The Ronald McDonald House at Riley includes a day-retreat area open to any family with an inpatient at Riley as well as six guestrooms specifically for families with a child in one of the hospital's critical care units. Both locations include living areas, kitchens, quiet rooms, laundry rooms, showers and places where families can nap when needed. Most importantly, families are just moments from their hospitalized children. As a nonprofit, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Indiana is always looking for those willing to volunteer their time, treasures and talents to help families in need. From serving dinners at our Limestone House location to serving on our Young Professionals Board, there are many different ways to get involved. This page will be updated frequently with news from the House, upcoming events, as well as employment, volunteering and fundraising opportunities.
