Welcome to Umu Igbo Unite - Los Angeles Chapter! UIU-LA is the local chapter of a US based non-profit organization that consists of young professionals and students of Igbo heritage between the ages of 21 and 40, living in Greater Los Angeles area. Umu Igbo Unite aims to connect, convene, and empower the next generation of Igbo professionals through networking opportunities and cultural exchange.Our membership targets adults from all parts of the South-Eastern Igbo speaking states of Nigeria including: Abia, Anambra, Delta, Ebonyi, Enugu, Imo, Bayelsa, Akwa-Ibom,Cross-River and Rivers states or who have family affiliation to these states.Our mission is to promote personal, cultural and professional growth amongst Nigerian Igbo professionals in the Diaspora, with a focus on the Greater Los Angeles Area, while working to preserve our cultural heritage.
