HLB Atrede LLP is a medium-sized public accounting firm establishing since 2001 and now ranks amongst the largest 14 accounting firms in Singapore. We offer assurance, compliance and advisory services to over 700 clients. We are also an Accredited Training Organisation under the Singapore Qualification Programme. We are an independent member of HLB International, a leading mid-tier international network, with member firms in over 100 countries, and with 1,750 partners and 14,000 staff in 480 offices worldwide. We are a local firm with a growing global reach. Our clients range from a wide field of businesses in Singapore and include subsidiaries of multi-national corporations, public and private companies operating in industries as diverse as electronics, property developers, contract manufacturing, marine, transportation, information technology, construction and education.The origin of HLB Atrede started with BH Tan & Associates, a practice set-up by Andrew Tan in 2001.Since then, the firm has grown, both organically and through mergers and acquisitions. But the names of the practices acquired have always been retained to maintain familiarity with their existing clientele.In 2013, we joined the prestigious HLB International network, which ranks as one of the top 15 accounting networks in the world. With this membership, we took the opportunity to re-brand ourselves and hence HLB Atrede was formed, to unify the various practices under a single name.Through our services, we often find ourselves in a position where we can provide counsel to our clients to address a wide variety of situations; from internal control weaknesses to potential risks arising from future business developments. While we do not purport to tell our clients how to run their businesses; we believe our counsel help aid our clients in developing the best course of action possible.
