Mokolodi Nature Reserve is a project of The Mokolodi Wildlife Foundation, a charitable organisation registered in Botswana. It was established to serve as a protected conservation and environmental education area and is placed in trust for the children of Botswana. Botswana's president, His Excellency, Lt. Gen. Seretse Khama Ian Khama, is the Foundation's Patron. Of Mokolodi's gifts, are inclusiveness and accessibility. Unlike many game reserve attractions in Botswana that may be prohibitively expensive to the local community, Mokolodi enables all visitors, from near or afar, to escape into the bush to experience and enjoy a very special environment.
