Established in 1928, The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven is one of the oldest and largest community foundations in the US and remains the largest grantmaker in South Central Connecticut. Donors maximize their investments by using The Foundation's expertise in managing funds and strategies to identify and meet community needs and opportunities. Throughout the year, The Foundation holds community-wide convenings and disseminates informational briefs on a wide range of topics of importance to Greater New Haven's residents.
