DeSales is an organization that promotes revitalization, affordable housing and quality property management in neighborhoods in and near the City of St. Louis. We develop and manage affordable housing projects in Fox Park and Tower Grove East in particular. In addition, we provide social service coordination for our residents, support our neighbors and local businesses, manage a community garden, and host a community advisory board. Our youth recreation program, SouthSide Rec, was created to provide affordable, healthy, and unifying activities to the youth in our area. DeSales is unique in that it provides holistic community development services that jointly improve multiple aspects of community health. Formed in 1976, DeSales is now one of the largest non-profit housing organizations in St. Louis.
