The vision of Athens Church is to see a People, a City and a World awaken to God and His glory. We believe that the greatest need for people is that they would come to personally know Jesus Christ and behold Him supremely above all else. Our prayer is that you would be awakened to all that God is, all that He's done, all that He is currently doing and all that He will do.Athens Church is led and shaped by Jesus Christ. "And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent. For in him all the fullness of God was pleased to dwell, and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross." (Col 1:18-20) Therefore Jesus informs who we are as the church, what we do as the church and how should we should walk as the church.
