An educational facility with its roots deeply embedded in the Christian faith. The 42, well-schooled horses are the pride of the farm and are used with much success to facilitate all our educational programs. In the past 15 years we've been known countrywide for our warm hospitality, the high standard of all our activities and for our impeccable facilities. Many guests have stated Mooikrans to be a life-altering experience.Mooikrans is situated on the escarpment of the Highveld of Mpumalanga, between Morgenzon and Amersfoort.Wide open plains, lazily swaying grasslands, freshwater streams with crystal clear water, rocky ridges and rolling hills are crossed upon the back of one of our beautiful Western schooled horses. An indescribable experience!We make use of the educational and therapeutic value of horseriding and being around horses in all our camps. The horse, with its unique qualities (large, proud, powerful, loving, patient) lends himself to being a wonderful tool in the healing process of the human psyche.Our historical farmhouse (Lotzhuis) provides comfortable and nostalgic accommodation for 18 guests in spacious double rooms. Our newly built "Stable Rooms" overlook the grazing paddock and provide the perfect escape for rest and relaxation.
