For over twenty years the Centenary Stage Company has served as a cultural resource for our community and the beautiful Skylands region. Our mission as a theatre has always been to entertain, enlighten, and inspire. Each year we venture forth on a journey we hope will have an impact on the lives of our diverse audience.We celebrate our commitment to you each year not only with professional Equity Theatre, but also our state-acclaimed Young Performers Workshop, Young Audience Series: Children's Theatre on Tour program, and special events that include a Jazz and Concert Series. We hold steadfast to the belief in the transformative power of art, specifically live performance. There is something singular and magical that occurs in the presence of the living artist and performer.When someone asks "What kind of theatre are you?" we reply "We are the kind that does seriously good work."
