As the only recreation facility of its kind in Halifax, Maskwa Aquatic Club is your destination for sporting excellence and family fun on the water.Founded in 1974, Maskwa Aquatic Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing paddling, swimming and outdoor recreational fun to the community. We combine high-performance training with recreational programs aimed at developing young athletes.Located on beautiful Kearney Lake, Maskwa is proud of its state-of-the-art clubhouse and boathouse located on a 41-acre wooded property at the end of Saskatoon Drive. With a wide range of programs and activities for all ages, Maskwa offers paddling and swimming programs throughout the year, as well as facilities and beach passes for those looking for a summer of fun and relaxation.
