The Chicopee Chamber of Commerce, now known as the Greater Chicopee Chamber of Commerce, was founded in 1962. We are a 501(c)4 nonprofit organization and, although we partner with the City to promote community events, public safety initiatives and more, we are not a government agency.For the past 53 years, the Chamber has worked diligently to unite, guide and promote the business community in the Greater Chicopee area. Our MissionThe Mission of the Greater Chicopee Chamber of Commerce is to improve the overall business climate by uniting, guiding and speaking for those engaged in business and industry, toward the advancement of economic and civil well-being for all citizens of the Greater Chicopee area. Our VisionThe Greater Chicopee Chamber is organized for the purpose of advancing the commercial, industrial, civic, and general interests of the City of Chicopee and its trade area. It is also dedicated to fostering, encouraging and promoting a nonpartisan interest in the business and fiscal activities of government agencies as such activities may affect the membership of the Corporation.
