Our expertise is the clinical assessment of family, legal, educational, and personnel matters facing individuals of all ages. We are trained and licensed at the highest level of independent practice. We are knowledgeable about mental health issues within the legal system and have experience providing expert testimony in criminal, juvenile, and civil courts. Expert testimony is provided in both civil and criminal proceedings. PCS offers an extensive array of assessments such as competency and criminal responsibility, civil commitment, custody and visitation, fitness for duty, pre-employment screening, neuropsychological evaluation, guardianship and parental fitness, sexual dangerousness, risk assessment for violence, and specialized assessments of the elderly and cognitively-impaired individuals. \\We also provide consultation to attorneys, courts, schools and colleges, day and residential treatment programs, inpatient psychiatry services, corrections and law enforcement, particularly on difficult or challenging cases. All of the services available from PCS can be tailored to specific situations, and we will work with you from the start to set realistic goals, budgets, and schedules.
