Underwater Gardens International (UGI) creates unique ocean experiences through tourism, science, art, design and technology. We build up nature in the sea and create awareness of regenerating marine ecosystems. Underwater Gardens is an integrated coastal tourism destination which combines fun and interactive activities in the water and on land. It invites visitors to discover and experience the sea though learning and play. We create these experiences in a physical coastal destination, the Underwater Gardens, as well as a virtual community. We design, build and manage networks of artificial underwater structures that create optimal conditions for marine life to thrive. Crafted from nature and technology, these structures are architecturally designed by creative eco-sensitive divers to provide an unforgettable diving and ocean experience for all diving levels in a safe environment.The on-land facilities combine science, education, entertainment and technology to create a unique experience of the ocean. It also provides leisure facilities for families, friends and couples to enjoy.We are a multi-disciplinary team of experts including architects, engineers, designers, software developers, marine biologists, expert divers, educators and custom made reef specialists, financial experts and sustainable tourism specialists.
