Fort McMurray #468 First Nation (the Nation) is in northeast Alberta, Canada. We have a community vision stating, "We are a harmonious community of rich culture that builds its economic and social success upon its commitment to accountability, respect for one another, and hard work."Using our traditional medicine wheel, we have created eight community pillars representing our community values and vision of self-governance. Through the eight pillars, we better define our services, programs, projects, and an increased quality of life for our members. Those pillars are: Governance, Our Land, Infrastructure, Health & Wellness, Education, Economy, Social Well Being, and Culture & Language.
