His work in psychology started as a therapist in college counseling centers, and he developed expertise in neurocognitive assessment in his post-doctoral training after earning his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota. He is also board certified in school neuropsychology. Since becoming a licensed psychologist in Minnesota, Chris has earned a post-doctoral master's degree in clinical psychopharmacology, been trained in memory interventions by Dr. Milton Dehn, and he has completed a post-doctoral training program in school neuropsychology lead by Dr. Dan Miller. He has in-depth knowledge about psychological assessment techniques, learning and memory theories and interventions, executive functions, and mental health. In addition to his work at a clinician, he also teaches graduate students at the University of St. Thomas. Chris is a frequent presenter at conferences and schools who is skilled at blending practice, theory, and research to describe complex information is easy to understand and meaningful ways.
