Bay Country Bakery & Cafe owners, Dave and Gena Levy, met while attending their culinary school together in Baltimore. After working in a number of high-quality restaurants over the years, they bought the beloved Bay Country Bakery in 1999. The couple has brought their own flair and creativity to a long-time local favorite. David and Gena have taken their baking inspiration from their time spent baking and cooking in their grandmother's kitchen. Bay Country Bakery & Cafe has been the top choice of the Eastern Shore of Maryland for pastries, cakes and other baked goods for over 35 years. They substantially expanded the business in 2009 with a new larger location on Rt. 50 with expanded casual breakfast and lunch services.
