Second Chance is a San Diego nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people change their lives. Second Chance helps men, women and youth move from poverty to self-sufficiency by providing job readiness training, job placement assistance, case management, mental health services, financial literacy and affordable housing. We help break the cycle of drugs, homelessness, and incarceration.Our Mission: To disrupt the cycles of incarceration and poverty by helping people find their way to self-sufficiency. Second Chance carries out its mission by providing workforce readiness training and job placement programs to youth and adults.
