The Compost Exchange is a Columbus based company that collects and recycles food scraps from our area residents. Our services include operating 7 weekly both drop-off booths as well as weekly curbside composting in specific neighborhoods. All of our services are designed to be Easy, Convenient, and Affordable. In the past year, our 1000+ TCE members led the way in recycling over 300,000 pounds of food scraps. This year, with their hard work, we plan to surpass 450,000. At The Compost Exchange, we offer five ways to easily recycle your food scraps.Curbside Composting - we come to you - Each week we stop by your home and pick up your food scraps. So Easy. Start a Super Team with 4 of your immediate neighbors and save up to 47%!Drop-Off composting - you come to us - our drop off booths are located at several farmers' markets and Whole Foods Markets in the Columbus, Ohio area. All are open year-round. Form a team and each teammate saves 24%. Neighborhood Composting HUBS – A terrific neighborhood-based program for sustainably-minded activists to increase the quality of life where they live and work. Multi-Residential Composting – A great alternative for developers to landfilling the food waste generated by the residents who live in their developments. Increased ROI and a definite marketing advantage are just two of the benefits of working with us to collect this locally created natural resource. City Wide Curbside Composting – City Mayors, Township Trustees, and Neighborhood Activists/Organizers can now offer their residents a proven state of the art curbside composting program and TCE will do most of the heavy lifting.Our mission is to make it easy, convenient, and affordable for you to recycle the food scraps generated at your home.
