Amale Oak Importers, LLC utilizes both traditional and modern coopering techniques and is 100% vertically integrated in our offering from both Le Grand Oak and Epocure Stave Co. We utilize both traditional toasting methods and an innovative, patented TRH toasting system that guarantees exact reproduction of toasting on every barrel, every time. We are a 100% vertically integrated French oak cooperage. All aspects of the production process from purchasing logs, seasoning, quarter splitting, milling, toasting and assembly are performed at our facility under strict ISO guidelines and controls. We source the finest fine grain French oak logs and do not purchase any stave wood on the open market.All our wood, for both our barrels and alternatives, is Bureau Veritas certified for both wood origin and seasoning time. Our wood must be seasoned a minimum of 24 months in order to comply with our certification. Our focus is a balance of tannins and traditional French oak characteristics that create a framework to elevate and enhance your fruit. Our wood is aged and toasted to create integrated structure, mid-palate mouthfeel and a long lasting finish to your wine.
