Achernar Tek is a fabless IC design house, striving to be the leading mmWave IC and solutions provider for advanced radio technologies and new generation of communications. Our headquarter is in San Diego, California. We also have a R&D center in San Jose, California, and operation office in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Our team of millimeter wave, RF, communications and DSP experts are from top-tier cellular and network IC companies, with over 20 years of wireless experience and over 8 years of CMOS mmW experience. Past accomplishments from team members include CMOS WiGig in 60GHz, 28GHz~77GHz antenna designs, 77GHz automotive radar, 60GHz gesture radar, and 256-element mmWave RF phase array. We are developing state-of-the-art 5G chipset for 5G NR small cell market, including phase array antenna, RF FEM and baseband modem in Sub-6G and mmWave bands. Our portfolio consists of four product lines: modem chip, transceiver chipset for sub-6G and mmW bands, mmW front-end chip including antenna in package (AiP), and sub-6G front-ends (PA/LNA/SW). We have taped-out 4 test chips in 2020Q3, and 4~5 more in 2020Q4. Engineering samples are expected to be ready in 2022Q1, and full production by end of 2022.
