Green, Maxville, and Associates is a team of professionals striving to improve the lives of individuals of all ages with developmental disabilities through the application of applied behavior analysis. Green, Maxville, and Associates (GMA) was established in 1994 by Dr. James Green and was acquired by Dr. Dale Maxville in 1998. Current services offered by GMA are delivered within natural home or supported living settings. As an agency we offer the following services: behavior therapy, applied behavior analysis, and behavior consulting. Our agency has primarily served individuals that receive funding through the Missouri Department of Mental Health (Medicaid waiver program). Typically, individuals served through our agency are located in the Eastern Missouri Region. Specifically, our agency emphasizes growth and development in the St. Louis metropolitan area (Tri-county area including St. Louis county). The scope of our services entail: descriptive assessments, functional behavior analysis, experimental analysis, behavior support plans, positive behavioral supports, as well as training for staff members and families. In addition to the services listed above we also assist families with special education issues, such as IEP development, transition planning, attendance to psychiatric or psychological appointments and assistance with educational placement. Green, Maxville & Associates employs board certified behavior analysts and one staff member who is a doctoral level certified special education teacher. When developing behavior support plans Applied Behavior Analysis is used as the fundamental teaching methodology due to its large empirical research base. As an agency we strive to maximize individuals' level of independence. We understand the many challenges families face when assisting individuals with developmental disabilities.
