Urban Agriculture Cooperative is a local food system non-profit organization based in Newark, NJ. UAC was developed with a specific focus on fresh food markets and food distribution from grower to consumer. Our mission is to connect local growers to empowered urban consumers to build a kinder, more connected, and healthier local food economy. We take an all-inclusive approach to local food system development that privileges the values of listening, collaboration, and healing. We believe in the power of boots on the ground to solve serious problems in our food system.
