As one of the top performing master agencies in the nation, we are a mentoring organization providing direct access to carriers, higher commissions, bonuses, contingencies and overrides.Ramsey Insurance Agency, Inc. was founded in 1953 and then acquired by William Porter in 1973. In 1983, his daughter Mary joined the business. In 1997, her husband Dan Kerns also joined the business. Today, Dan & Mary Kerns have grown Ramsey Insurance to the strong agency it is today.Mountain State Agency Alliance was created to help the independent agent remain independent and ease the way for new and captive agents to enter the independent agency world. MSAA follows the family business established by Bill Porter many years ago.
