The Golf Club of Tennessee was established in order to provide dedicated golfers with an excellent golf course, quality facilities staffed to provide superior service and operated to enable its members to enjoy golf as it should be played; without tee times, delays, or distractions with the availability of quality caddies, in an exceptionally maintained environment of seclusion and exclusivity, amongst members that appreciate and benefit from the traditions and heritage of the game of golf. Featuring zoysia tees and fairways and bent grass greens, the 7,184 yard, par 71 course sprawls over nearly twice the acreage of a traditional 18-hole course. Tom Fazio used all of the elements of design excellence - with holes that are both strategic and penal, subtlety difficult yet player friendly, and memorable. The course is complemented by a beautiful and fully-functional 31,000-square foot clubhouse, which includes a five-bedroom suite for use by members and their guests. In 2012, The Golf Club added the Ingram Cabin. This three-building structure, which includes two sleeping cabins and a "public" cabin, is the perfect complement to the Clubhouse Suites, ensuring The Golf Club's standing as one of the South's premier golf destinations.
