Cederberg Private Cellar is the "highest above sea level" wine farm in the Cape Winelands in South Africa. At 1 036 metres above sea level these grapes ripen very slowly. The farm is surrounded by 183 000 hectres of pure nature. The farm does not spray for any diseases because it is a virus free area. For five generations the Nieuwoudts have farmed the land and for three they have been making wine.
