We provide a range of services for people affected by brain injury. Our Advice and Support Service offers emotional telephone support as well as practical information and signposting to other services. Evening support groups are held monthly at different locations across the county and there are regular events for carers as we are aware that brain injury impacts on the whole family. A counselling service is provided across East Sussex, West Sussex and Kent in conjunction with other Headways. The Newick centre has the facility for rehabilitation and reablement. Courses are run in association with the local further education colleges to assist clients in returning to a community setting. We also provide respite in a safe environment where the symptoms of brain injury are understood and catered for by an experienced team of staff.
