Vice-président at Société de la Vallée de l'aluminium/Aluminium Valley Society - Alma, Québec, Canada
Coordonnatrice du Salon de la Vallée de l'Aluminium en affaires
A non-profit organization at work in global markets, the Aluminium Valley Society looks to stimulate aluminium transformation by taking part in the implementation, startup and growth of companies located in one of the world's most advantageous aluminium transformation hubs: Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean (Québec, Canada). Since 2001, the organization has been a catalyst and facilitator of aluminium transformation initiatives, and their best ally. With its focus on business projects, it plays a leading role in the field of aluminium, and opens the doors to investors looking for opportunities. The Aluminium Valley Society works closely with a network of economic and strategic development partners on the Quebec, Canadian, and international scenes, wanting to boost the development of the aluminium industry in Aluminium Valley®. To be more specific, the Society's mission is to support Aluminium Valley® and help to broaden its value-added aluminium transformation activities by supporting the growth of local enterprises and actively contributing to the establishment of new ventures. The ultimate goal is to participate in local economic development and thus contribute to the creation and retention of sustainable jobs. The Aluminium Valley Society wants to bring together in one place the greatest number of viable, performing companies and, in doing so, give Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean the means to become a world-class hub of aluminium transformation by 2015.
