i27 are an up and coming songwriting & production team based in Guildford, Surrey consisting of Edd Holloway and Aaron ‘brownie' Lewis. Writing commercial pop and R&B tracks/remixes, the duo have combined their similar musical backgrounds after meeting at The Academy of Contemporary Music. Studying a Music Production Degree has helped i27 develop their skills in writing, playing, recording, producing, singing and mixing. Aaron ‘brownie' Lewis, a 23 year old singer from east London has been practicing music since the age of eight, specializing in brass and keys. He begun writing songs while at school and started producing his own music approximately four years ago. Edd Holloway, 24, started playing music at school, learning to play guitar and later teaching himself to play keys. He started producing music in 2005, writing electronic-influenced R&B and pop music. i27 are influenced by the likes of Michael Jackson, Neptunes, Stargate, Taio Cruz, Ne-Yo and try to blend all of these styles to create their brand of smooth, modern, and uplifting R&B-influenced pop. Their aim is to be writing and producing music for major artists and to see their work recognized by the public and the industry alike.
