Charleston Hope is dedicated to improving Title 1 education in Charleston's lowest resourced schools through relationships, resources, and opportunities. We seek to improve at-risk student's quality of education and life through inspiring students, supporting teachers, and empowering communities and schools. We provide various programs throughout the year ranging from teacher support in the classroom with mentors working with at-risk students academically and socially, empowering schools through art and school improvements, and monthly community engagement events to bridge the gap between inner-city communities and the greater Charleston area.Along with this, we host an annual event that focuses on giving hope and showing students in the Lowcountry that they matter to our community. Our Adopt a Classroom event provides over 2,000 Lowcountry students, annually, with a wrapped Christmas gift, a Holiday party, and quality time with community members.Charleston Hope has also expanded its mission to two other South Carolina cities: Clemson, Spartanburg and in Akron, Ohio. These branches are under the leadership of Charleston Hope and work to carry out Charleston Hope's mission by empowering their local community to support and invest in their Title 1 schools. We are seeking local loving individuals to support our impoverished youths quality of life and education through Charleston Hope. We welcome volunteers, sponsors, fundraisers, and financial donors to invest in Charleston's youth and education!
