YakGear History:As an avid fisherman and curious inventor, the president of the company created two leashes, which are now the basic paddle leash and the fishing pole leash. In 2005, he began offering these leashes under the name Reel Deels. After a year of constant online sales, the product line was then expanded to include rudimentary imitations of what is now YakGear's line of extensive paddle sport and marine products.
