AfID offers accountants from around the world the opportunity to use their skills to support a broad range of non-profit organisations globally. Assignments of between 2 weeks and 12 months, or permanent salaried placements, form part of an ongoing strategy to build the financial management and reporting capacity of charities in over 50 countries. Accountants could be budgeting with a street kid centre in Kampala, coaching a hospital bookkeeper in Kigali, financial reporting for a primary school in Kathmandu or mentoring a new FM in Kharthoum. UK roles include FD, CFO, FC, FM, Project & Programme accountant, Internal Audit, management and Financial accountant positions with or without the need to travel overseas.Our non profit partners, which include INGOs, Social Enterprises, NGOs, charities and the country offices of Int'l NGOs, street kid centres, health clinics and rural schools are all doing amazing work to tackle extreme poverty and inequality in their communities but are unable to access vital professional skills and training.Accounting for International Development has now supported over 500 charities and non-profit organisations in 52 countries across Africa, Asia and South America.
