More than two decades ago, Mike Keiser set out to find a piece of property on which he could build Dream Golf. Inspired by the best in the home of golf—Scotland, Ireland, and England—the initial course would be built on rugged, windswept sand dunes, and be open to the public. It would also encourage golfers to walk the links with a caddie, as has been the case in golf for hundreds of years. From this dream, Bandon Dunes was born in 1999, with four courses being added at the resort in ensuring years. Built on the success of the west coast resort, two courses at Cabot Cape Breton (Canada) and three courses at Sand Valley (Wisconsin) have since followed. This is golf as it was meant to be. This is Dream Golf.
