The International Education Center / Nichibei Kaiwa Gakuin is a non-profit organization which was founded in 1945. In addition to its ongoing contributions in the interest of intercultural communication (e.g., sponsorship of the annual English speech contest by teachers, the Japan-America student conference, and English essay contest), it has a solid track record of teaching English at all levels and for all needs, from beginners' English conversation to academic and business English writing to college-type, content-driven courses delivered in English on a variety of hot topics (e.g., international relations, art appreciation, legal reasoning, global finance, and so on).
