PEOPLE MEETING PEOPLE HELPING PEOPLEThe Rotary Club of Canmore, Alberta is non-profit group composed of members who provide humanitarian service and help to build goodwill and peace in the world. Our main objective is service — in the community, in the workplace, and around the globe.The 8o+ members of the Canmore Club are part of the 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide forming a global network of business, professional and community leaders volunteering their time and talents to serve their communities.The Rotary Club of Canmore raises funds to contribute to a wide variety of programs both in our own community and abroad. Locally we support youth projects and scholarships, community groups and many initiatives to enrich our community. Abroad we fight poverty, support literacy, work to end polio worldwide and offer assistance to worthy projects of NGO's with Rotary presence and guidance on-location.Prospective members are welcome to attend one or more club meetings to experience Rotary and learn more about it. Weekly meetings are held year-round on Wednesdays at 7:30 am at the Canmore Golf & Curling Club. Meetings run from 8 – 9 am, full breakfast buffet included for $15.
