Located in the artisan's community of Sugar Loaf, NY, one hour from Manhattan, the Bostree Gallery is an unpretentious gallery of American made handcrafts featuring our own work, the work of family members, and pieces created by other wonderful craftspeople we have met throughout the years.. We present artist-made pottery, jewelry and other fine handcrafts: artistic objects made by hand with love, care, creativity and integrity to please the eye, enhance the home and nurture the spirit. We believe the quality of life is raised when a handcrafted piece is used or worn because a connection is made between creator and user: a unique individual using a piece made by another individual and not by a nameless, faceless machine.At Bostree studio we create pottery for the gallery and offer pottery workshops open to the general public and studio memberships. The studio is an environment for individuals to explore their own creativity through contact with professional artists, professional tools and materials, and a unique sense of community. Through the studio, inspirational pottery retreats can also be arranged to be presented at your location for your group.
