We believe in striving to produce the best tasting and healthiest juices and smoothies in the world for NZers. That's why we exist! The Homegrown Juice Company is a New Zealand company that squeezes and distributes a range of Raw Cold Pasteurised Juices and Smoothies.These are sold throughout New Zealand, Australia, Asia and the Pacific Islands. The Homegrown Juice Company is also New Zealand's largest grower of oranges with orchards located in Gisborne and Hawkes Bay and further plantings under development. The squeezing and bottling plant in Hastings and the orchards are all wholly company owned. The combination of controlling the fresh supply of oranges and being the only New Zealand manufacturer that uses cold pasteurisation in the manufacturing process stands our product apart from competitors. Other manufacturers use preservatives and/or standard heat pasteurisation which burns the natural flavours in the juice and lowers the nutritional value.There are 60 staff located in Hastings at the manufacturing plant, with another 10 sales staff based around New Zealand, mainly in the North Island. There are another 10 permanent staff based at the company orchards with this number increasing through picking times.The company is continually on the look out for competent, passionate people to join the Homegrown team at all levels of the organisation.The products are distributed by a network of 30 distributors located throughout New Zealand. They are predominantly independent franchisees who solely distribute and sell Homegrown products only.The Homegrown Group continues to expand and invest into areas that increase our competitive advantage or sales volume. There is significant opportunity in both the local and export markets and the leaders of the business are excited about continuing to grow and expand this profitable business.
