Since its inception in 1976, the Catholic Foundation has assisted Catholic community members in the Greater New Orleans area strategically give of their blessings to the causes and organizations important to themselves and their families. In 2019 we proudly built upon this trusted reputation by adding the word "community" to our name. This word positions the foundation right where we aim to be: in the middle of our community, connecting donors to its needs and providing parishes, schools, and ministries with the resources to help them flourish. The mission of the Catholic Community Foundation is to spiritually and financially enhance and sustain the charitable, educational, and pastoral ministries of the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
