Information Technology IT Departement Govt. of PunjabRealize e-Governance in the Province of Punjab for enhancing internal efficiencies and improving public service delivery. 1) Create an I.T enabled work environment in the public service sector; proliferate IT Culture and build capacity in the provincial government departments. 2) Bring all stakeholders on board, consult and work with them to identify/assess the needs and service areas in each department 3) Prioritize the projects to be implemented with focus on sustainability through ownership of projects by the respective departments/district governments. 4) Address the requirements of system integration, conformity of standards and development of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), ensure security of data, create archives and data warehouses and bring about a revolution of online service culture in the society.
