We started our business in 1986 by purchasing an old lumber mill from the 1930's; converting it into a 40,000 square foot warehouse and production facility. Old Wood Delaware was born and reclaimed wood was going to become a household staple. By 2000 our reputation had grown to the point that customers wanted more than flooring. We started making custom furniture and accessories to accent the warmth and charm created by our flooring. To handle this additional demand we added our Harbeson, DE showroom location off of Route 9 - a 1918 dairy barn and 1926 farmhouse that we painstakingly restored. With the help of social media and the internet we've been able to extend our reach outside of the Eastern Shore. Our flooring, furniture, and accessories can be found all over the country. Though the journey has not always been easy it has been fun and our customers have made every day worth it; it was your word-of-mouth and confidence in our products that made Old Wood Delaware what it is today.
