In 2006, Kare founded and is the executive director of Missing Pet Recovery Services, Inc. where she works tirelessly to reunite lost pets with their families. She can occasionally be heard on the Lucky Dog Show radio program. Kare grew up with dogs, a dog grooming business and hunting dogs. Since 1979, she has worked with state police agencies as a Confidence Course Trainer and was a breeder of champion German Shepherd Dogs. She attends conferences regularly to maintain current knowledge from the best trainers across North America.
