With an area covering 11,865 square kilometres and a population of around 11,887 residents we have almost one resident per square kilometre who enjoy our vast and growing region.Living in the Murray area offers activities and events for all ages and interests. Our collection of great towns and some of nature's finest backdrops make us an obvious choice to host major events attracting many visitors to the area all year round.
