Celia is a certified teacher of Somatic Voicework (tm) - a body-based method of vocal training which draws from many disciplines including classical singing, voice science and medicine. SVW is a state-of-the-art technique that develops power, range and control, and promotes healthy singing. It is specifically designed for the demands of CCM styles (Contemporary Commercial Music - pop, rock, jazz, folk, musical theater, etc). Celia is also a member of NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), and holds an MA in Theater. With over twenty-five years experience as a teacher and performer, Celia offers a blend of technical and artistic skills to help each student discover and enhance their unique voice and performance style.
