Founded in 1989 in the Science Park of Sophia Antipolis (French Riviera), IPMC is a joint lab between the CNRS and the University Nice Sophia Antipolis.The international research teams take advantage of state-of-the-art equipment and high level of expertise in molecular & cellular biology, imaging, cytometry, electrophysiology, functional genomics an integrative biology.IPMC regularly recruits talented new members.WITHIN AN EFFECTIVE NETWORKIPMC is strongly committed to the promotion of biology in the Nice - Sophia Antipolis area, in collaboration with dedicated organizations, foundations, academic and industrial teams (through industrial contracts, competitiveness clusters, or innovative spin-offs).IPMC investigators contribute to the better understanding of several human diseases, which is mandatory for the development of new treatments.INTERNATIONAL IMPACTIPMC scientists publish their work in top peer-reviewed international journals; they have filed more than 150 patents; they collaborate with many international academic teams; they are recipients of prestigious fundings (ERC, EMBO, FP7, FEDER…).
