WHY WE DO IT: Following the loss of her first husband to cancer, a horrific car accident which left her son with a severe brain injury and the loss of both her Dad, who had Alzheimer's and her Mom to ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) – both within 30 days, left our CEO, Cyn Dunn permanently transformed. Cyn saw the need for greater support systems for primary CareGivers in the homecare industry. Since then, she has focused on putting the "Home" back in homecare and building long term relationships with her clients and their loved ones.WHAT WE DO: We take pride in our approach to home care and offer our clients family style support. We treat our clients like we would treat our own family members and as a result, we build true relationships with our clients and their loved ones. We provide vital education, support, and a listening ear to the primary CareGivers when they need it the most. WHO WE ARE: Choice Dementia Services (Choice) delivers on – demand CareGiver In-Home Respite by providing advanced specialized care, education and emotional support to loved ones and their families living with Alzheimer's or related Dementia. HOW WE HELP: Our approach to home care is simple:• We hire extraordinary Health Care Aides (HCAs) who are passionate about what they do. • We take the time to get to know our Client's loved ones and match them to an HCA with whom they would connect best. • We encourage our HCAs to be creative in their home care plans and engage in all types of activities both inside or outside the home.
