CareGivers America's history began in the 1990s when the founder owned and operated two personal care homes. Despite his best attempts to make his facilities beautiful, he frequently would hear residents wishing they could live at home. What resulted was an organization that could allow them to do just that…CareGivers America opened in 2002. Its mission was seemingly simple: Keep people home. With those three words in mind, the founders began hiring caregivers to provide in-home personal care and homemaker services. In the Pennsylvania market, the company continues to operate as ‘CareGivers America'. In November 2020 Simplura Health Group was honored to announce that it has joined The Providence Service Corporation family, the nation's largest manager of non-emergency medical transportation programs for state governments and managed care organizations.
