Thomas Bell-Wright International Consultants is a privately held engineering firm providing independent quality assurance and testing services for the exterior wall systems of large buildings, and testing of fire containment systems and materials in buildings.Our large testing laboratory holds accreditation by UKAS and ENAS to ISO 17025 for a number of curtainwall and fire tests. The company operates from a single location in Dubai's Ras AI Khor area.Started in 1995 by Tom Bell-Wright to provide specialist third-party consulting to architects and developers fortheir curtain wall projects, the business has grown to be the major company in the region providing bothconsulting and full scale testing for curtain walls, and most recently the only facility capable of testing fire rateddoors, walls, partitions and materials.Between our different departments, Facade Consulting, Curtain Wall Testing, Special Inspections, Fire Testing, Administration, and Management, we are a close team of over 40 people.Curtain Walls have to keep the weather out and the people in. We try to make sure that they do thisreliably for the life of the building. Premature failure is likely to drastically reduce building life becausereplacement or repair is a massive undertaking requiring a vacant building, extensive exterior accessand replacement of all interior finishes in perimeter rooms.
