The Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC acquired full ownership of Indra Finance Ltd. in 2014 under the then Financial Sector Consolidation Plan and renamed the entity as Serendib Finance Ltd. in 2015.In December 2020, the Company was renamed as CBC Finance Ltd. in order to reflect the close association with the Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC.
