Disciple Oaks Camp & Retreat has facilities with several outdoor recreational amenities, including a pool and a large pond. With over 200 acres of meadows, woods, creeks, pond and pool, our retreat center is the ideal place to enjoy the heart of Texas (near Gonzales, in Central Texas). We offer several lodging options, including dormitories and motel-style rooms. Schedule your next retreat, meeting or group event with us, or enjoy the advantages of an RV hook up. We also offer the Lindley Center, which is a homey fully-furnished, multi-bedroom getaway designed for one or two families or a small group. We now have a new Challenge Course (Low Elements) and have recently renovated and renewed many of our amenities. We are also the summer camp facility for two areas of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) during June and July. We host camps for children and youth entering grades 3-12, as well as retreats and meetings for young adults, women's/men's groups and congregations. The two Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) areas that we serve and who share our ownership, are the Bluebonnet Area and the Coastal Plains Area.
